Transformation Quilt
I love smaller quilting projects lately. The quick turn arounds and satisfaction of a completed project are needed sometimes. The transformation quilt pattern will provide you with those same feelings.
Math has always been a favorite subject of mine since grade school, so much so that I even made it my major in college.
The transformation quilt is representative of the math term as a geometric figure. In math, a transformation is a function, f, that maps itself in any combination of operations like translation, rotation, reflection, and dilation. With sashing as the coordinate planes, this pattern uses rhombuses and triangles, demonstrating the transformation of shapes.
Happy Sewing!

The design was initially written as a vertical wall hanging, but how cute is this pillow by Mary of @embercraftcompany! There are many different ways to create this and make it your own. I can’t wait to see how you bring it to life. Be sure to share on Instagram, tagging @zahmco and #transformationquilt.
Fabulous Testers
I would not be a successful pattern designer without my fabulous testers. A huge thank you for the work they put into helping me have a fun pattern to share with all of you! (in no particular order)
