Description: Ready to take your piecing to the next level? This class covers making an Astra Pillow with hand quilting. While working through the pattern in class, students will master 4 at-a-time flying geese, accurate piecing for smaller strips, the scant quarter inch, and pressing techniques. To make this pillow special, we will be quilting this pillow top by hand to add that extra level of handmade art. At the end of class, you will walk away with a beautiful pillow top and instructions on turning it into a pillow.

Description: Flying Geese Quilt block is simple, versatile, and quick to make. This class covers making a Baby or Throw size Artwork Quilt top. This pattern is great for showing off the beautiful large print fabric and takes a break from tiny pieces. While working through the pattern in class, students will learn about four at-a-time flying geese. Students will also learn to master the scant quarter inch for the accurate piece, managing large pieces of fabric and nesting seams. At the of class, you will walk away with a beautiful quilt top.
